Archaeological and Cultural Heritage Services

AEC provides a range of archaeological and built heritage services to our clients, including property developers and their agents, public sector agencies, charitable organisations and private individuals. Our input from the site acquisition or project scoping stage can ensure that unexpected delays and extra costs are avoided.

AEC specialises in making heritage sector regulations and best practice as standard, working within project time constraints and budgetary concerns.

We offer services that encompass entire project life spans, from historical and documentary research at the site acquisition, pre-planning or pre-environmental impact assessment stages; through to project managing fieldwork and post-excavation analysis.

All employees of AEC are qualified professional archaeologists and/or environmentalists with a broad range of experience in most aspects of archaeological practice, and are members of the Institute of Archaeologists (IfA) .

We abide by the IfA’s bylaws and Code of Conduct, and work to nationally accepted IfA standards.
