About Us

Archaeo-Environmental Consulting (AEC) is an independent company which is based in Manchester and regularly undertakes archaeological and environmental projects in the North of England and the Midlands.

AEC provides cost-effective, independent, impartial and confidential advice to our clients on a wide range of archaeological and environmental issues within the planning process, negotiating with government agencies and planning authorities as required.

We undertake the design and management of large- and small-scale projects, and develop and monitor strategies for the management of archaeological remains; in both urban and rural environments. 

Our company also has strong links with other contracting organisations and independent specialists, and are therefore able to offer a comprehensive range of services to clients.
